Goleta ASCA Trials July 10th & 11th 2010 Off to Goleta, North of Santa Barbars and cool weather for July. Predicted high 68°
We stayed at the Motel 6 about a mile from the park. Small room but all we did was sleep there. Next door was a Mexican bakery that had good tortas and great flan.

All that chasing ribbons is hard work. Good thing we get some long down time.
Saturday was a good day. Not only did she qualify twice and both 1sts but due to a technical error in the raffle, we won everything.
This was our third trial. I had been working with Chili on all the problems that became apparent in Cayucos. Wasn't real sure she would do much better but once she was on the course, she did everything I asked. I have been spending a lot of time working with her at home and it paid off. We were able to qualify (Q) in four rounds. 3 blues and a red. |
